2024 edition

The 10th edition of the Vivian Maier International Photo Competition, held in June 2024, invited photographers from around the world to explore the theme “Street Scenes” through black and white photography. True to the spirit of Vivian Maier, this edition celebrated the art of capturing everyday life, fleeting moments, and the emotions that unfold on city streets.

Participants were asked to uncover hidden stories, observe urban life with sensitivity, and capture the beauty of human gestures and expressions in clean, timeless compositions. The choice of black and white enhanced the narrative power of the images, allowing them to focus on light, contrast, and the revealing details of everyday life.

This edition brought together photographs of great stylistic and geographical diversity, showcasing the richness and creativity of contemporary perspectives. The selected works were exhibited in a special retrospective and received awards recognizing artistic quality, technical mastery, and originality.
